Fashion Fusion 2008
June 29, 2008
EMBASSY OF FRANCE, WASHINGTON DC - JUNE 28, 2008 - The Fashion Fusion premiered yesterday at the La Maison Francaise. Inspired by philantropy and style, the goal of the event is to leverage the trade of fashion as a platform to unite people and facilitate change, says Dehja Bower, Creative Director and CEO of Fuzio Productions, the organizers of the show. The event was billed to redefine fashion entertainment and prove that a traditionally self-absorbed industry can be an influential forum to positively impact the community.
Money raised at the event will be used to support the Washington Area Women’s Foundation.
Washington area designers on the catwalk include Alek Risminic - Baltimore, Studio D-Maxsi - DC, Magnami Style & Co - Baltimore, Andrew Nowell - DC, Lenny York - DC, Walish Gooshe - DC, Carmen Eliam (Jewelry) and L-Shandi -DC.
